You're not imagining it

Does this sound like your child?

  • Falling behind in a one-size-fits-all classroom that moves too fast — or too slow.
  • Bright and curious, but the way school teaches just doesn't match how they think.
  • Feeling left out or disconnected — and starting to believe they're "bad at school."
  • Never getting the chance to dive into the subjects and hobbies they truly love.

If you saw your child in any of these, take a breath. It doesn't have to stay this way. Kids who struggle in a busy classroom often light up when learning is one-on-one, hands-on, and built just for them.

The Myla Method

Real learning, real connection — every single session

Before anything is planned, Myla learns your child's interests, frustrations, and how they absorb new ideas. Then every session is built on these six things.

A real relationship, not a lecturer

Closer to a caring friend who loves learning with your child — someone who genuinely wants to help them grow, not just get through a worksheet.

Built around their interests

Myla starts with what your child already loves — dinosaurs, soccer, slime, space — and uses it to open the door to brand-new ideas.

Movement, not sitting still

Tag between learning sets, building and using real objects, hands-on play. Wiggly kids learn best when learning gets to move with them.

A consistent routine

Ideally the same time each day or week, so sessions feel safe, familiar, and easy to look forward to.

Real breaks, no screens

A snack or a chat about what they're into — never a screen. Breaks recharge focus instead of scattering it.

Fully personalized

Every plan is shaped around your child's level, skills, interests, and the way they learn best — because no two kids are the same.

For every kind of learner — with a special heart for neurodivergent kids and children who struggle in a traditional classroom.

Programs

Learning that doesn't feel like work

Every session is hands-on, activity-driven, and built around your child's specific interests.

About Myla

A Temecula local who believes every kid can love learning

I'm a Temecula local who has worked with kids across a wide range of ages and learning styles — from toddlers to high schoolers. My most meaningful work was with a 7-year-old boy with autism who needed a fun way to get his homework done. Through teaching him games, my passion to help kids learn was sparked.

My internship with Foodshed in San Diego — educating families about nutrition and sustainability — showed me something I build every session around: kids learn best when the material connects to the real world.

  • Temecula local — Chaparral High School
  • UCSB Regents & Presidential Scholar
  • 4.51 GPA, Summa Cum Laude
  • Student-Athlete of the Year 2024
  • Communication, Film & Technology Management major
  • Foodshed intern — community nutrition & sustainability, San Diego

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

What ages does Myla work with?

Kindergarten and up. Summer Brain Boost is geared toward grades K–8, while Real World 101 and one-on-one sessions work for kindergarten and older. Everything is tailored to your child's age and level.

Where do sessions take place?

Everything is in person, right here in Temecula — at your home or at Myla's home, whichever works best for you, and occasionally outdoors when the weather and activity call for it.

Is this the right fit for my neurodivergent child?

Yes. Every session adapts to how your child learns best — the pace, format and approach all depend on what works for them. Myla has worked with children across many ages and learning styles, and is passionate about personalized, neurodivergent-friendly learning.

Is this like regular tutoring?

Not exactly. Sessions are built around games, hands-on activities and real-world topics, so it feels like summer and the learning just happens naturally along the way — not like more school.

How long are sessions, and how much do they cost?

One-on-one sessions are 1 hour 15 minutes at $45 each (4-session bundle $160). Weekly group sessions are 2 hours at $30 each (4-session bundle $100), with up to 8 kids. Sibling discounts are available — just ask.
